UPDATE (03/26/06): Seems when I copied and pasted the links for the ratings I didn't go back and change the individual links value to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. I am sure most of you caught on to that and changed it, but I have officially re-uploading the page with the correct links value.

I am sooo for slim feed icon

Hey folks, introducing - slim - a place where simplicity is key. I like simple (or as simple as possible) explanations for complex solutions. I am graphic/web designer of 8+ years and through a need to keep up with my developer counterparts and my own thirst for knowledge have picked up php, a back end/server side programming language.

Doing research for various ways of scripting something always led me to code that as a beginner found somewhat daunting. Always the info was presented in a way that seemed overly complex or I just plain didn't get it. So what I have done to look out for the 'little guy' so to speak is come up with tutorials on some pretty involved topics as simply as possible.

I encourage all to get involved in this process and if you see something in the tut's that could be done better or more efficiently - but still with the spirit of simplicity in mind - by all means let me know. What will happen then is I will review the example you submit and if it appears that the value out weights any added complexity I will update the tutorial.

A purple badge badge will show up next to the title on the home page indicating how many times an update has been made to the original tutorial. In most cases you will be able to re-download the file or files associated with that tutorial. That will not invalidate the code you may already have, just that if you want, you can replace what you have and it will work the same if not better.
